- Hi there, my name is r3n3g8b0y and I'm a miniature painter and student from Melbourne, Australia. I got into painting about 3 years ago and started off with little skill and knowledge of painting. I was hooked by the miniatures that Games Workshop produces and bought a starterpack along with a paintbrush and some paints. From then on I painted every day and increased my skills slowly but constantly. This year I painted up a Warhammer 40,000 Sentinel for the Golden Demon(the Academy Awards of the miniatures). Unfortunately I got sick and was unable to attend. Oh well, there's always next year... Although I am still a student I started offering painting miniaturs and models for other hobbyists for small charges, and since I'm a very quick painter (3 years of constant painting helped me with that) and I paint to a standard above "Tabletop", many of my friends loved how I painted their minatures.
